The Future-Proof Kid.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

This product is built for parents, and we treat your family's information the way we would want ours treated. This policy explains what data is involved when you use The Future-Proof Kid, where it lives, and what control you have over it. The short version: the sensitive parts stay on your own device.

1. Who is responsible

The Future-Proof Kid is an independently operated digital product. Payments and billing data are handled by our merchant of record, Dodo Payments, under their own privacy policy. For anything related to your data on our side, contact hello@myfutureproofkid.com.

2. Your child's data stays in your browser

The assessment answers you give and your child's first name are stored only in your own browser, using a technology called localStorage. They are never transmitted to any server. We cannot see them, and neither can anyone else.

This means your child's assessment results and personalized plan exist on your device alone. If you clear your browser storage, or use a different device or browser, that data will not be there, because it was never sent anywhere in the first place.

3. What we do collect

The only personal data we handle directly is your purchase email address. We use it for three things:

That is it. We do not build profiles, and we never sell personal data to anyone, for any reason.

4. Payments

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments, a third-party merchant of record. Dodo Payments processes your billing information, applicable taxes, invoicing, and payment data under its own privacy practices. We never see or store your card details.

5. Cookies and advertising pixels

Our marketing pages, such as the sales page, may use cookies and advertising pixels from platforms like Meta. These help us measure whether our ads are working, for example by counting visits and purchases. This measurement applies to the marketing pages only. The assessment itself and your child's information are not part of it, since that data never leaves your browser.

You can limit this kind of tracking through your browser settings, ad blockers, or the ad preference tools offered by platforms such as Meta.

6. Children's privacy

The Future-Proof Kid is directed at parents and adults, not at children. The product is designed for a parent to use, with their child in mind. We do not knowingly collect any personal data from children under 13. The only child-related information involved, the first name and assessment answers, stays in your own browser as described above.

7. Your control over your data

You are in charge, and here is what you can do:

8. Data security

By design, the most sensitive data never reaches us, which is the strongest protection there is. For the email address we do hold, we take reasonable measures to keep it safe and share it with no one beyond what is needed to deliver the product and receipts.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date at the top. Significant changes may also be announced by email.

10. Contact
